Indonesian Journal of Contemporary Education  (IJoCE) is a open-access, peer-reviewed international journal who aims to the sharing, dissemination and discussion of the education for the global research community across the country through the dissemination of high quality research findings on professional issues that reflect diversity this field. IJoCE encourage for publish of the research results and studies in the fields of primary, secondary school, critical pedagogy, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, educational philosophy, educational psychology, educational technology, distance education, science education, parental education, non-formal education, early childhood education, curriculum development, design, education assessment, education supervision, education management, education policy, vocational education, social education and other relevant issues.

The Journal is published biannually (April and October) and is available in open access electronic version under new publisher the SAINTIS Publishing. More information about of journal history can see here.

Indonesian Journal of Contemporary Education (IJoCE) welcomes original research articles and literature reviews from various countries in the world that have high-quality on all topics related to education area to publish in this journal. Submitted papers must be written in English and follow Author guidelines for initial review stage by editors and further review process by international reviewers.

The articles should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to the IJoCE. Every submitted manuscript to the IJoCE must be written in English and follow the Author Guidelines. Please read author guidelines. You have to make sure that your manuscript  is prepared using the  IJoCE template. If the manuscript does not meet the author guidelines or written in a different format, the article will be rejected. Only submitted manuscript that meets IJoCE format will be processed further.

Reviewers’ name and affiliation will be listed in the printed journal and on the journal's webpage as a member of editorial board and will be given electronic certificates.

REQUIREMENTS

The applicants must:

  • hold a doctoral degree (or higher) in a discipline related closely to the scope of the journal
  • hold a teaching or research position at a tertiary level learning institution, e.g. university
  • have an excellent command of academic and professional English
  • have a strong interest in the scholarly journal
  • be capable of working to set deadlines
  • perform the reviewing procedure accurately
